This Silhouette Alta PLA Filament is the perfect addition to your 3D printing collection. It will allow you to start making 3D models and designs in the colour of your choice using the Silhouette Alta Plus 3D Printer. Think of this filament as a 3D ink.

It is BPA-free, which makes it food-safe if you’re making bespoke cookie cutters or cake toppers. It is also fully biodegradable, with the PLA standing for polylactic acid.

Once the PLA filament is loaded into the head of the 3D printer and your design is sent, the head melts the filament and begins to layer the PLA in 0.05–0.5mm increments until your design is complete. You’ll be able to create a huge variety of designs, all from one roll.
