Álbum seminal de funk-rock lanzado en Rare Earth en 1970. Con el monstruoso breakbeat de The Sorcerer Of Isis. Formada en Detroit en 1968, Power of Zeus se convirtió en la primera banda de rock del sello subsidiario de Motown, Rare Earth. El grupo se inspiró en los británicos del hard rock y el heavy metal como Cream, Black Sabbath y Led Zeppelin cuando crearon este álbum seminal de post-hard rock bien producido. Después de El evangelio según Zeus, el grupo nunca hizo otro álbum y cayó en la oscuridad, hasta que fue descubierto por el hip hop. , Kanye West, Jay-Z, Cyprus Hill, Tribe Called Quest y Eminem, por nombrar algunos.
