Immediately fluffy out of the box, our Brooklinen Down Alternative Comforter is made with a supersoft 400 threadcount cotton sateen shell and filled with 53 oz. of hypoallergenic polyfill made from synthetic fibers, specially engineered to mimic the warmth and exact texture of natural down. We use a ?baffle box? construction, which means that a grid of fabric ?walls? run throughout the inside of the comforter connecting the top and bottom, which helps to keep the filling in place.
